Every meaningful journey begins with a spark.
A vision refuses to stay hidden.
Sometimes it whispers for years before we are finally ready to listen.
Years ago, while working as a flight attendant, I visited a kindergarten in Nairobi.
Quietly, I made a promise to myself:
"One day, I'll build a school somewhere in the world."
Then life happened.
Career.
Family.
Responsibilities.
The dream faded.
Or so I thought.
Sixteen years later, that forgotten dream found me againā¦
In the most unexpected place.
The Congo found me...
Today, more thanĀ 500 childrenĀ call Tala Mosika their school.
Maybe your dream is waiting for you, too.
If a stranger asked you,
"Why does your idea matter?"
Could you answer in one powerful sentence that makes them care?
Not what you do.
Not how you do it.
Why does it matter?
Don't answer me.
Answer yourself.
Then take one small step.
Ā
šæĀ One reflection. One question. One step closer to your vision.
"If this question resonated with you, here are different ways we can continue the conversation."
This reflection is inspired by my journey of buildingĀ Tala MosikaĀ and my bookĀ 15 Years of River of Hope.
