My inspiration came from a walk at the beach, where I found those rocks with a hole. It was clear to me, painting does not just have to take place on a canvas, where I have to ask myself where I hang the picture and where I store it. I still love to paint on canvas but those stone necklaces became my passion -  a great activity for a colourful break from work  or when its grey outside, with some great sound in the background.
